This official map covers the central section of the Trans Pennine Trail from Leeds to Chesterfield, and Penistone to Sprotbrough.
Includes the north-south section of the Trail between the lively city of Leeds and the Derbyshire market town of Chesterfield, part of National Routes 6, 62 and 67. This also shows a portion of the east-west route from Penistone to the village of Sprotbrough near Doncaster.
This section of the Trail covers an amazing range of sights and scenes as the Trail passes through countryside, towns and cities of the North of England; on historic railway routes, packhorse trails and canal towpaths; woodland bridleways and riverside paths. Much of the Trail is traffic-free.
The map covers Doncaster, Leeds, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham and Chesterfield.
