This map details the fantastic Way of the Roses cycle route which runs from Morecambe on the Irish Sea in Lancashire to Bridlington on the North Sea in Yorkshire.
The route opened on 11 September 2010, coinciding with the 15th anniversary of the National Cycle Network, and has quickly become one of the UK's most popular cycle routes. The Way of the Roses is almost entirely on quiet country lanes and runs through the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Yorkshire Wolds before reaching the North Sea at Bridlington.
This full-colour map based on Ordnance Survey data shows clearly mapped cycle routes on traffic-free paths, quiet lanes and roads, with easy to read contours, route profiles and mile markers. Also features detailed inset maps for the major towns and cities, tourist info and cycle shop and hire information, and other local routes.
