The Great Glen Way is a 74-mile (118 km) trail running between Fort William and Inverness along Scotland's Great Glen. The route follows the towpath of the Caledonian Canal, passes through ancient woodlands and overlooks Loch Ness.
The route is shared with cyclists, and instructions are given for both cyclists and walkers. The route is only suitable for mountain bikes. Accommodation and transport information is also given.
