The map covers the stunning southern half of the Coast and Castles cycle route, following it through Northumberland from Newcastle to Edinburgh, capital city of Scotland. It takes in some of Britain's best built and natural heritage, including Hadrian's Wall World Heritage Site, unspoiled coastline and the beautiful Tweed Valley before arriving in Edinburgh.
This full colour map based on Ordnance Survey data shows clearly mapped cycle routes on traffic-free paths, quiet lanes and roads, with easy to read contours and route profiles. Also features detailed inset maps for the major towns and cities and linking routes that could be ridden for day excursions, and touring routes in the Scottish borders. The updated 2015 edition includes the Borders Railway, a new line between Edinburgh and Tweedbank.
